Saturday Storytime

Renowned picture book creators,
Aleesah Darlison, Serena Geddes
and Sue Whiting will read their
latest works to children in Manly
Library. This is a lively, interactive
session and includes fun craft
activities. Children can wear fancy
dress and must be accompanied by
an adult. Suitable for ages 3 - 6.

Manly & Peninsula Fellowship of Australian
Writers Awards Night

The Fellowship of Australian Writers
gather together for their annual
composition awards night. Come along
for a night of drinks and nibbles, and
enjoy the winning entries for Short
Story, Article and Poem which will be
read aloud. Also on display will be
paintings by children from the Cerebal
Palsy Alliance, which were inspired by
stories written by the FAW.

Creating Worlds of Wonder
& Characters to Inspire

Children’s book creators Sue Whiting,
Aleesah Darlison and Serena Geddes
lead children through fun exercises to
create and illustrate sensational settings
and unforgettable characters. Map out new worlds, develop heroes, villains and fantasy creatures
then draw them! This workshop develops
creativity and idea sharing. Includes afternoon tea.
