Lantern Parade & Family Picnic

Bring yourselves, a picnic, lanterns and / or
Venetian Carnivale mask for a fun outdoor
family event, as the Gallery is transformed
into a place of celebration and performance.
Enjoy live music by Matt Trapnell & Friends,
Madagoba and Flip ‘n’ the Birds. Join the
twilight procession and watch the finale light
show on the beach. Gallery open till 8pm.
Coordinated by Emmie Collins & Ikara Events.

History Walking Tour

This easy pace history walk includes
many fascinating, intriguing and even
wild stories of Manly’s past. Stories of
British Colonisation, escaped convicts,
agrarian outrages, shipwrecks, castles
and how our village was built.
Also hear about strange creatures from
the deep and the men who walked
over water. Come along and get a
blast from the past!

Watermarks

Watermarks is an exciting weekend
event held in the water-access only
communities of Pittwater.
Come explore artists’ studios and
homes on Scotland Island and in Elvina
Bay. Demonstrations, talks, music
and food add to the festival-like
atmosphere. Studios open 10am - 4pm.

Art at the Sanctuary + Short & Green Film Fest

To celebrate Manly Environment
Centre’s 20th Birthday, an International
Conference for Environment Centre’s
& Community Activists’ is being
held. Environmental artists will be
showcasing and selling their artworks.
Installation art will be on display in
various locations around the site.
‘Short + Green Film Festival’ will run
over the weekend.
