Manly's Big Draw : Sea Mail

Sunnyfield 'Carmunity'

‘Carmunity’ Sunnyfield car sculpture, a
collaborative artwork with emerging
artist Liam Benson and the Sunnyfield

Liam Benson and Naomi Oliver, known
as the ‘Motel Sisters’.

The Sunnyfield Film Festival II

Come along and enjoy a series of short
films made by people living with a
disability. These films showcase the dreams
and aspirations of the Sunnyfield people
living in Sydney. Accompanying this is
a photographic exhibition and written
narrative created in collaboration between
Manly photographer David Jenkins and
the creative team at Sunnyfield Frenchs
Forest Day Option Program.

Art in a Jar

Join in with this large outdoor gallery
and put your piece of art in a jar. You
can use photos, sculptures, paintings
- only the glass is your limit!
This temporary art gallery is for all ages,
professionals and amateurs, students,
kids and the ‘I don’t have clue about
art’ individuals. At the end of the
day, swap your jar and take home
something special and unique.

Art Bunting

DVD Mandala

Recycle your old dvd/cd’s and join them
into a large outdoor Mandala Flower
on Manly Corso. Colourful recycled
fabric and papers will be used to
decorate the disks, or you can decorate
a disk at home and add it to the
flower! Kids can ask their teachers
to join in with their school class!

[Treading Lightly] Art at Little Manly Point

Inspired by a number of transient
concepts and a dream fuelled by a
passion for nature and our landscape.
Come along and help create a public
art sculpture at Little Manly Point.
Using a selection of natural found
materials and fibres, as well as clay
and drawing, the project will emerge
from the landscape.

Nothing But Bike

Come along and listen to artist and film director Mike Rubbo, as he talks about his recent project Nothing
But Bike. Part of NSW Bike Week. Mike Rubbo recently
had a show, Nothing but Bikes, at Tap Gallery in Darlinghurst. This was a world-first, a show completely devoted to stately sit-up bikes. He believes the bicycle
is a superb presentation device for the human body
and he will deliver a presentation of the recent bike world.
